Kobi brought his family to visit Santa at Petsmart this past weekend.

Doesn't he look happy? I bet he gets a big bone this Christmas.

Storm's family brought him back to visit Santa at Petsmart. 

 

We would like to thank the family who adopted Max and welcomed him into their life.

I know i'm way behind on posting our adoptions, but i'm doing several things and i will get caught up( i keep telling myself) this week or next.

One Adoption on Friday! YEAH!!!

Samson got adopted on Friday and doesn't he look HAPPY!!!  His new momma is happy, so EVERYBODY'S HAPPY!  Please come see us This SUNDAY at Petsmart.  We will try to have a good selection of  adoptable dogs.

We want to thank all the volunteers who came out last Saturday to help us at our special adoption event in Montevallo. Our neighbor Jenny S., our friends Adriane M. and Katy from Montevallo, and Karen J; who all volunteered their time to come help with Adoption Day! Thank you..., we greatly appreciate it!

Just wanted to say thanks to all the supporters that helped in saving the pups with parvo,we lost 1 RIP Freddy :(...I'm blessed to have friends that care :)

Saving one at a time

We are sorry about being so slow posting on our blog...it's been a very busy month and it seems to not be enough hours in the day to do what is needed.We are making progress on several jobs at the sanctuary and have most of the kennels built.We are now taking time out to save some calves for the slaughter house and bringing them to the sanctuary for safe keeping.there will be 5 to start with and hope to save a few more later.this is a picture of one named BoBo the Bull.

Last weekend was Petsmart's TENT ADOPTION EVENT and Joe Jackson's Dog World, Inc. is proud to announce that we had 11 adoptions!  Here are pictures of a few of the adoptees.

We've had a few more adoptions in the past few weeks and I've been so busy I never got them posted... so here is a picture summary!

ANNOUNCEMENT

Adoptions have temporarily been cancelled at Tractor Supply Co. in Montevallo, AL.   I Repeat:
Starting TODAY (4/28/12), we are NO LONGER HOLDING ADOPTIONS AT THE TRACTOR SUPPLY COMPANY IN MONTEVALLO.
We will still be at the Petsmart in Alabaster for Adoption Clinics on
FRIDAY's from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. AND on
SUNDAY's from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you at PETSMART in Alabaster, AL!

A PUBLIC APOLOGY

There’s a million in one chance that the Amy this apology is directed to will actually come to this site and read this, but just in case she does come to this site, this apology is for her. 
 
I am deeply sorry for the miscommunication between the workers at Petsmart on Sunday, and that Joni was adopted before you arrived to adopt her.  Had I been there, I would have explained to the lady looking at Joni that you were coming in that day to adopt her, but since I was not there, Joni was adopted shortly before you arrived.  I am deeply sorry for that turn of events, and would like to make it up to you if you will let us.

If you’re the Amy mentioned above and you’re reading this, please contact me so I can apologize to you personally.  And if there is a way we can make right the wrong that took place last Saturday,  I wish that you would give us that opportunity.

4 Adoptions in the last 2 weeks!

We have had two great adoptions in the last week.  And two the week before!

 Ed saw Willow and knew almost immediately that she would be a great addition to his family!

And the first puppy from Meri (formerly Americus) was adopted this past Saturday!

Week before last Hunter & Haylee were adopted!

Adoption Day Moved TODAY ONLY!

Saturdays we usually have adoptions at the Tractor Supply Co in Montevallo, AL, but TODAY ONLY (March 31, 2012) we are going to be having adoptions at the Montevallo High School Athletic Field for FFA Day.  The hours are from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Come out to the Montevallo High School Athletic Field if you are looking to adopt a dog!
